The Nebraska Department of Environmental and Energy scrap tire management grant program will provide 25% matching funds to each recipient awarded. People eligible to apply are Nebraska private and non-profit entities and organizations and political subdivisions. NDEE has created this grant opportunity to help reduce the amount of waste tires in the local landfills and stimulate the production of commercial products including playground surfacing systems made from recycled Nebraska waste tires.
