Missouri Waste Tire Grant

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources scrap tire grant program will provide up to $40,000 in funds for playground and non-playground projects to each recipient awarded. People eligible to apply are Missouri public school districts, private schools, park districts, nonprofit day care centers, other nonprofit entities and governmental organizations other than state agencies. Privately owned, residential backyard areas, and private in-home day care centers are ineligible. MDNR has created this grant opportunity to help reduce the amount of waste tires in the local landfills and stimulate the production of commercial products including playground surfacing systems made from recycled Missouri waste tires.
