Kansas Playground Surfacing Waste Tire Grant

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment waste tire grant program will provide up to 50% matching funds to those awarded. People eligible to apply are Kansas local units of government and public & private schools. This includes counties, municipalities, school districts, private schools (limited to K-12), townships, park districts, etc. KDHE has created this grant opportunity to help reduce the amount of waste tires in the local landfills and stimulate the production of commercial products including playground surfacing systems made from recycled Kansas waste tires. KDHE is currently accepting applications for the grant until January 15th 2026. Contact us today for a quote!
