Ecoturf Surfacing recently had the opportunity to complete a 5,800 square feet installation for a private school in Parsons, Kansas. Ecoturf Surfacing installed the compacted rock sub-base and the poured in place surface. This school was a recipient of the Kansas Waste Tire Grant and received over $32,000 to help pay for their surface!
The next application period for the Kansas Waste Tire Grant opens on November 15th. Kansas local units of government and public and private schools are eligible to receive similar funding for playground projects through the grant.
