The weather may not be working with us here in Kansas City, but in California the temperatures are great for surfacing! Ecoturf Surfacing recently completed a 3,000 square foot turn-key synthetic turf playground surfacing installation in Rocklin, California.
This academy recently had a water main break that destroyed their toddler play area, making it unusable until it was fixed! Our crew came in and dug up the grass and dirt in the area and installed a compacted rock sub-base. Next the crew put down the foam padding to give the turf its fall protection. After the padding came the turf rolls. This job didn’t require too many cuts in the turf since most of their play equipment was secured above the ground. This helped make rolling out the turf a breeze! The crew stretched the turf to smooth it out and get rid of any wrinkles and secured it to the ground. They then finished up the installation with envirofill sand infill.
We are excited for the toddlers to get to check out their new play area today! Now if we could only get the warm weather to come back to Kansas City.
